Before It Had a Name
MelodiesInCode didn’t start with a tool, or a plan. It started with a question: Can something that doesn’t feel, create something we feel? And can a tool that seems so cold carry a director’s imagination, ideas, and emotions to people? That question became the beginning of MelodiesInCode.
How It Comes Together
MelodiesInCode was born as a cinematic exploration of life, time, and beauty through AI-powered music, films, and visual storytelling. Created by Suha Ismail, founder of Stylus Media and an award-winning director, the project brings together philosophy, science, life stories, music, and art into a thought-provoking and emotionally felt experience. The process starts with an idea, shaped into a story. From there, music and visuals are developed together, with AI used as a tool to shape the final result under clear creative direction.
Different ideas, one language
In Not Just a Rose, a flower becomes a space for dialogue between science and art, a work that received a Special Award at the AI Film Awards Venice 2025. In Laws of Light, physical laws become a way of understanding the layered beauty of existence, translated into music and image. And in Lighter Than the Wind, a full life unfolds from an often unnoticed perspective. Through childhood wonder, fear, struggle, loss, and release, the film traces a quiet transformation, becoming more aware, more grounded, more human.
A space to explore without constraint
MelodiesInCode was created as a creative space within Stylus Media to explore ideas without constraint. A place where philosophy, science, creative arts, and human experience can meet. The tools may change. The process may evolve. But the intention remains the same: to take something difficult to grasp, and turn it into something that can be felt and enjoyed, through sight, sound, and words.
